Jeřábková, Pavla ; Hejzlarová, Eva (advisor) ; Zrcková, Alžběta (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the present legislative of pre-school care, concentrated on those institutions which aren't kindergartens, nevertheless, they provide periodical all-day care for pre-school children. This work shows the troubles which arise during establishing and operating of these institutions, and tries to find out whether the revealed problems can be solved by a government bill of children's group. The gained information exposes the problematic area of non-state unprofitable pre-school care out of education law, which hasn't been yet regulated by any concrete legal regulation. This problem is solved by the government bill of children's group. Conversations with establishers of pre-school care institutions showed a second problem related to the high and unclear hygienic requirement for the care of self-employment. This area is adjusted by arising legislative only for the unprofitable sphere and suggesting a possibility of using this legislative there, also for taking care of self-employment.

My thesis "Pre-school education as a means of harmonization of parental and working roles in the region Ústí", focuses on different types of kindergartens, which can be one of the tools for harmonization of parental and professional roles. This issue is also linked with the problem of lack of places in kindergartens, which isn't entirely new, but there has not be found yet any suitable solutions that would help eliminate this problem. Because of wide range of different types of kindergartens parents have the option to choose suitable kindergarten for their children as well as kindergarten can adapt to demands of parent so that they were allowed to return to work. This work is concerned with the extent to which directors of kindergartens (as frontline employees) and municipality (representatives bureaucracy) affect the determined indicators (time availability, space availability, affordability and services), and adaptation of the kindergartens with respect to harmonization of parental and working roles. Based on interviews with the director of kindergarten and with representatives of community, it was found that the established indicators are more suggestible in kindergarten established by the private sector, as the directors of these kindergartens are also the founders. On the other side the...

Rumanová, Jana ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Angelovská, Olga (referee)
My thesis "The Parents' view on the current problems of pre-school care", focuses on the problem of raising number of unsatisfied applications of placing children in the kindergartens. It deals also with the problems with joint of parents' careers and family life, which are caused by refused applications of placing. Year by year there is raising excess demand. The pre-school care established by state is a tool which helps parents to harmonize their work and family role. It has been done a research using a method of semi-structured interviews with parents of children at the pre-school age and with headmasters of public kindergartens. It has been recognized two main reasons why parents prefer the placement in the public kindergartens to other alternatives of pre-school care. The main reasons were child's socialization in a group and financial accessibility for parents. The alternatives of pre-school care were not preferred among parents, because they are expensive and parents mostly don't trust them. Because of refused application they stayed at home with child, they did not return to their work. It has been identified problematic areas which are connected with (un)placing a child in the kindergarten, those are criteria of admission and overfull classes. The overfull classes don't enable the...
